TOUR OF KINCARDINE
RACE DATE:
May 31st, 2025
The race route trails are part of the Kincardine Trails system – an entirely intra-town system with a variety of challenging terrain for a cyclist. The race course is approximately 28 km long.
The terrain roughly breaks down to 14km of hard surfaces, 12 km of single track, and 2km of paved roads. The single track will have some natural dismount features as well as handling skill challenges regardless of the bike you choose to ride. The route follows the forested river trails, lakeside paths and connecting roads through the town of Kincardine. It finishes downtown at Geddes Park. This pleasant, scenic location is also where the awards will be held.
The TofK Short consists of the easier paths and trails in a loop of the South of the town and Kincardine Trails. This course is suitable for those that would love to participate and contribute to the KTA but don’t have the single track experience that the full Tour of Kincardine route demands. So if your young person would like to participate, the course is well marked and an adult acting as sweep will not leave anyone behind. If you tried the full course and it was too much – this short course is fast and fun! Both races start and finish in the same place.
